In the heart of Moonlit Woods lived a little rabbit named Clover. Clover was known for her speedy hops and clever ideas. She loved to explore the forest, nibbling on sweet clover patches and making friends with the birds and squirrels.
But every full moon, a chilling howl echoed through the woods. It was Grizzle, the sneaky werewolf who prowled the shadows. Grizzle loved to scare the animals and tried to catch anyone who wandered too far after dark.
One evening, as the golden sun dipped behind the trees, Clover heard a rustling in the bushes. Out jumped Grizzle, baring his sharp teeth. “Where do you think you’re going, little rabbit?” he growled. “It’s almost full moon, and I am very hungry!”

Grizzle licked his lips. “And why not?”
“Because,” Clover replied, “if you wait until tomorrow, I’ll lead you to a whole field of delicious, plump rabbits!”
Grizzle leaned closer. “Why should I trust you?”

Grizzle thought for a moment. “Fine. Tomorrow night, you’ll take me to the field. If you trick me, I’ll find you wherever you hide!”
Clover nodded, then hopped quickly away to the secret burrow where her friends waited. She told them everything. The rabbits agreed they must work together to stop Grizzle.
The next night, Clover led Grizzle deep into the woods, farther than he had ever gone. "Just a bit farther," Clover said, "the field is right ahead!"

“Go inside and see,” Clover said. “All the rabbits are hiding in there!”
Grizzle, hungry and eager, squeezed himself into the log. But as soon as he was inside, the rabbits sprang into action. They pushed heavy stones and branches to block both ends of the log.
Grizzle was trapped! He howled and howled, but the clever rabbits had outsmarted him. Together, they danced and cheered, safe at last.
